Which countries are supported?

Each preset uses the official photo dimensions required by that country’s passport authority.
What background colors are accepted for passport photos?

Most countries accept white (US, UK, India, Canada, Australia). Some countries require light blue or grey backgrounds. Our tool gives you all three standard options plus a custom color picker. Simply select your country preset and choose the matching background color.
Can I print these at home or at a store?

Yes. Use the “Download 4×6 Print Sheet” button to get a standard 4×6-inch photo sheet at 300 DPI (1200×1800px). Upload this to CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Costco, or any photo kiosk. Cut along the marked lines for individual photos. You can also print at home on 4×6 photo paper.
How does face centering work without face detection?

After removing the background, we analyze the silhouette of non-transparent pixels to find the center of your head and shoulders. We then position this center optimally within the passport frame. The head guide overlay lets you see where your face falls — if it looks off, you can retake the photo and try again.
Is this really free and private?

Yes — 100% free and 100% private. The AI engine runs entirely in your browser via WebAssembly. Your photo never leaves your computer. There are no uploads, no servers, no data collection. We don’t even have a backend to store your images. This is why we can offer it for free.
What resolution/quality should my photo be?

Aim for at least 800×800 pixels for standard 2×2" photos, and at least 600×800 pixels for 35×45mm photos. Higher resolution produces better results. Our tool checks your photo and warns you if the resolution is too low for print. For best results, use a well-lit photo taken against a plain wall.
